Why Sun follows moon?

Before humans came to this world, the sun and moon were married and shared the sky. One day the moon decided to get some vegetables for them, leaving the sun in-charge to their children. Moon gave sun a warning to not get to close to there children or they would get burned. The sun, at a safe distance to his children, look over his sleeping children. Urging him to kiss them. As he was getting to close he was horrified to see his children melting. When moon came back from the forest, she found out that all of her children are melted and sun was nowhere to be found. Time when by when sun decided to come back home and apologise. They had a fight and sun throws all the vegetable to moon, and they decided to leave each other alone. As time passed by, you can see the traces of vegetables on moon's face. There children became stars. And they're still having an attempt to be together again, but they are too shy, the sun follows the moon.

Legends and myths are not true but they are based on a certain historical events and figures. They are not true because they are just stories made up by our native people back then to answer the questions of the children or even adults. Legends and myths are also not scientifically verifiable and there are no evidences to prove that all of these legends are true. It is simply because legends and myths are just stories without any scientific basis. It does not undergoes any scientific procedures and no one has ever tell that the legends are true. But aside from being just a story, myths and legends have lessons to tell. It is the main reason why native people made stories, for us to have lessons in life and also to answer the questions of the native people back then. And those lessons are very applicable for us. Some says that there are kinds of truth that the legends contain. For me the truth about legends are, they are our guide, specially for us Filipinos. The lessons from our legends become our guide in our lives. When we are still in our childhood days, legends were told to us. It is simply because they want us to absorb the lessons that the legends are saying. They want us to have our guide in our lives. And because of that we still need legends and myths today because they're stating the identity we have and what we are. Myths and legends are part of our lively culture. The culture that made us who we are right now.
